Amarie Art (often stylized as aMarie Art) is a contemporary Jamaican art brand created by Kingston‑born artist Alicia “aMarie” Thomas, whose bold abstract works have become known for their emotional depth, vibrant color stories, and modern Caribbean aesthetic. Her artistic journey began unexpectedly in 2012, when a friend encouraged her to paint—an invitation that sparked a creative renaissance and led to her first commissioned abstract piece. A naturally gifted visual storyteller, Thomas embraces abstract expressionism as her primary language. Her pieces are guided by emotion, intuition, and movement—what she describes as a “dance” between mind and canvas, allowing colours, textures, and organic forms to flow freely.
