Broomie is a uniquely Jamaican cultural brand that transforms the island’s traditional broom‑making heritage into fashionable, handcrafted accessories—including its standout Broomie jewellery collection. Founded by Oshane “Jahdon” Mamby, a Clarendon‑born artisan and reggae artist, Broomie reimagines an age‑old craft by turning the Jamaican thatch broom into wearable art.
Inspired by generations of broom-makers in his community, Jahdon began experimenting with miniature broom forms, eventually crafting earrings, key rings, magnets, and pendants from hand‑sized broom bundles. His breakthrough product, the Queen Sweep Earrings, emerged when he realized that shrinking traditional hand brooms down even further created the perfect base for statement jewellery.
