For over 25 years, Portland Rasta Craft has nurtured an entrepreneurial spirit among local youths through skills training in craft production, cultural arts, and creative expression. The organization mobilizes and trains young people—especially those who are otherwise idle or underserved—by engaging them in structured programs that teach carving, crafting, design, and other art‑based techniques. This approach helps to build self-confidence, cultural identity, and income‑generating skills.
