True Stories Scentre Yourself

The first word I would use to describe myself is a hustler. I used to sell ice out of my igloo at school to help my mother. I’ve always believed that if you have hands you can make money, and luckily for me I’ve always been good with my hands.

I started making candles as a hobby, then I graduated to making soap and body cream. I loved it so much that I did a lot of research into natural skincare and homemade products and eventually turned it into my business.

However, it is not just about the money for me. The process of making body care and aromatherapy products is how I “Scentre myself”. It is like meditation for me and I don’t consider it as work at all. No matter how stressed and overwhelmed I am, I will always make soaps. My favourite aspect of this business is interacting with other people and solving their skincare problems. Scentre Yourself has given me countless opportunities to meet people and be the listening ear they need. My goal is to make people feel good about themselves, so I encourage constructive feedback from my customers.
I want Scentre Yourself to be known as a company that supplies natural skincare products at an affordable price. The quality of my products is the top priority so I get my materials at a good price without sacrificing quality. When people use my products I want them to think of it as a way to soothe and centre themselves. I genuinely care about the customers and how they will benefit from using my products. I pray over each and every product I make, and I hope that the care and nurturing that I pour into my products will extend to whoever is using them.
