Theresa C. Givans is a Jamaican author with a B.A. in English from McGill University in Montreal.
Her journey into children’s writing was inspired by the realization that her children’s bookshelves were filled with British nursery rhymes but in Jamaican children’s books. So, she decided to remedy that situation by creating her own. Theresa lives in Mandeville, Jamaica with her husband and three children.
